Choosing the board background
Each board page in Draw.Chat can have its own background. You can set a background color, use an image, PDF document pages, or a map. This makes it easy to prepare a board for learning, presentations, working with documents, or drawing on maps.
Change the page background color
You can change the background color of the current page using a command entered in the chat field.
Example: /background black or /background #000
The command sets the background color only for the currently selected board page.
Setting an image as the page background
To create a new page with an image as the background, click the "Open" button on the toolbar and select an image file from your disk.
The selected image will be automatically set as the background of the new board page.
Tip: You can use the keyboard shortcut Shift + Ctrl + O on Windows or ⇧ + ⌘ + O on Mac.
Using a PDF document as a background
Pages of a PDF document can be used as a whiteboard background. This is a convenient solution for filling out forms, adding annotations, and handwritten notes.
To load a PDF document, click the "Open" button on the toolbar and select a PDF file.
Each page of the document will be automatically added as a separate whiteboard page.
Drawing on maps
You can use a map as the board background by providing geographic coordinates in the lat,lng format.
Leaving the field empty will use your current location (after granting permission).
You can move around the map freely, just like on a regular board canvas.
Questions directed to the AI assistant may take into account the currently selected position on the map.
