Making and receiving direct calls (WebRTC)
Audio calls
Draw.Chat allows you to make audio calls with one or multiple people working on the same board. Calls are established directly between participants (WebRTC technology).
To maintain good sound quality, it is recommended that the number of participants in an audio call does not exceed 24 people.
To start broadcasting audio from your microphone, click the Microphone button in the upper-right corner, above the chat window.
Video calls
Video calls allow you to stream your camera image to other board participants in real time. Calls are carried out directly between users.
Due to bandwidth load, it is recommended that the number of participants in a video call does not exceed 8 people.
To start broadcasting video from your camera, click the Video button in the upper-right corner, above the chat.
Screen sharing
You can share your screen with one or multiple people working on the same board. Screen sharing is based on the same connection as video.
The recommended maximum number of screen-sharing participants is 8 people.
To start screen sharing, click the Screen button in the upper-right corner, above the chat.
File transfer
Draw.Chat enables direct file transfers between participants working on the same board.
To share a file from your device, click the Upload file button in the message input field, then select a file to send.
A message with the file will appear in the chat history, which other participants can use to download the data.
The file is available for download only while you remain connected to the board. After you leave the board, access to the file ends.
