Board management

Boards saved in this browser are available in the boards tab. You can browse, search, sort, organize them with labels, and remove them from your list. The Create board card opens a new board.

Each board card contains basic information: title, description, creation date, a preview of the latest change, view count, and details of the latest activity (a change or message), including the user name.

Editing and the board menu

Click the preview to open the board. Additional actions are available from the menu in the top-right corner of the card. You can open the board, assign labels, or remove it from your list.

If you own the board, you can also change its title and description, copy its link, and use the Important option to mark it as important. You can edit the title and description directly on the card or through the corresponding menu options. Clicking outside the edited field saves the change. Important boards are displayed before the others regardless of the selected sorting method.

The Remove option removes the board only from your list—it does not delete the room or its contents.

Labels and filtering

Labels help group boards by project, topic, or any other category. Select Edit labels to create, rename, delete, or drag labels into a different order. Deleting a label removes it from every board. Renaming it to an existing label merges their assignments.

To assign a label to a board, open the menu and select Labels. Clicking a label above the list or its colored marker on a card filters the boards. Hold Ctrl on Windows and Linux or on macOS to select multiple labels. Only boards with all selected labels are displayed. The Show all button clears the label filters and search text.

If you create a board while filtering by labels, the selected labels are automatically assigned to the new board.

Searching

Use the Search... field to search boards. Search covers the board title and description, user names associated with its activity, the latest message, and the room token. Every entered word must occur in the board data.

To search for an exact phrase, use quotation marks, for example "lesson topic". A - before a word or phrase excludes boards that contain it, for example -archive or -"old project". You can combine text search with label filters.

Sorting

The button to the right of the search field shows the current sorting method. You can sort boards by:

  • last change date,
  • last visit date,
  • creation date, newest or oldest first,
  • title from A to Z,
  • view count.

Actions on multiple boards

Hold Ctrl on Windows and Linux or on macOS and click cards to select multiple boards. You can also select a card with the right mouse button. Then use the buttons next to sorting to copy links to the selected boards or remove them from your list. Press Esc or use Cancel to end the selection.
