General
What do we store on our servers?
Usernames, drafts and chat history, shared images, timestamps, ip addresses, browser IDs, user session numbers and email addresses if provided.
What do we store in your browser?
User profile and settings, cached files and drafts, cookies, and other data to identify your browser. You can install this site as an application. You can easily delete the stored data by cleaning the site data.
What is transferred directly between users?
Direct (P2P) connections containing ip addresses, camera or desktop audio/video stream and chat files are sent encrypted between participants. IP addresses may be known to other participants and to intermediary servers. All chat participants have access to actively shared content.
Shared images
Shared images on boards are stored on draw.chat servers and can be deleted after 30 days after the last read. Images are made available to the public at an address formed from the checksum of their content. Designated images can be blocked. abuse (at) draw.chat
What cannot be uploaded to Draw.Chat servers:
- Proprietary images unless you own the copyright and have a license to share them. Violence, racial intolerance, or speaking against any person, group, or organization.
- Any images that may be illegal in the US or EU.
- Adult images are not allowed.
If you are not sure if the image you want to upload is allowed, do not upload that image. Uploaded images may be checked by staff and removed without warning.
Ads
Draw.Chat is a free service and costs are covered by advertisers. Every effort is made to ensure that ads are not intrusive and do not interfere with the use of the site.
