What are SAT and PSAT?
SAT and PSAT are College Board assessments that measure reading, writing and math skills at different stages of school. They form the SAT Suite of Assessments and are taken in English.
What is the SAT used for?
SAT scores can be part of a college application, particularly at universities in the United States and elsewhere that accept them. Each university sets its own requirements. Students can take the SAT at test centers in the U.S. and internationally.
Why take the PSAT?
PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10 and PSAT/NMSQT help students check their progress, identify skills to practice and prepare for the SAT. PSAT scores are not used for college admission.
PSAT/NMSQT also serves as the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program for eligible students. PSAT 10 and PSAT 8/9 do not qualify students for this program. National Merit eligibility requirements
Choose a practice test
Choose an assessment from the SAT Suite, then select a practice test. Each test has its own page with a whiteboard button, an official paper, a scoring guide and answer explanations. The tests are in English.
These English-language PDFs are nonadaptive practice tests. Each includes Reading and Writing and Math. They are practice materials, not papers from past exam sessions.
